Marc L. Rubinstein - From his early 60s guitar beginnings – with a cheap Stella once hung as a decoration on his auntʼs wall and with strings a very distant relation to the neck – he has performed for over 45 years. Although best known for his years with his Pig Light Show at NYʼs famed Fillmore East, John Scherʼs Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ, and many other venues (and many appearances on national television), his heart has always been with his music. As a musician he spent many years playing bars, hotels, colleges, concerts and even county fairs. Indeed, he paid for college, grad school and postgrad school with his bands. Heʼs a singer/songwriter with nearly three-hundred songs to his credit. Rock is his forté, with influences as diverse as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jeff Beck, Cream, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, Van Morrison and Donovon. |
